ICONE32 Weihai

The 32nd International Conference on Nuclear Engineering (ICONE32) was held from June 22–26, 2025, in the scenic coastal city of Weihai, Shandong Province, China. Organized by the Chinese Nuclear Society (CNS), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME), ICONE32 served as a premier international platform for sharing advancements in nuclear reactor technology.

The event took place at the Weihai International Economic and Trade Exchange Center, featuring keynote speeches, technical sessions, industry forums, student programs, and poster presentations.

Experts from across academia, industry, and government gathered to discuss topics such as plant operations, small modular and advanced reactors, safety, digital control systems, and nuclear education. ICONE32 successfully promoted global collaboration and innovation in the field of peaceful nuclear engineering.

ICONE32 Weihai, China was a lot of fun.

Thank you to the evaluation committee for allowing FuseRing to participate in workshop and as panelist. I'm glad I met students and engineers, we had great exchange of view points.

China's nuclear power plant construction is massive. 53! We in Canada and U.S. , we have to stop dithering and get moving.
